The Indigenous Birth Conference provides a space for learning, healing, connecting and the preservation of indigenous midwifery and birth traditions.

Preconference workshops required for certifications/licensure (neonatal resuscitation, for example)

We seek distinction by:
Providing numerous full and partial scholarships to indigenous midwifery and birth related students
Providing numerous full and partial scholarships to indigenous elders
Partnering with indigenous presenters and vendors
Honoring indigenous diversity
Honoring Native American, Alaska Indian and land based, tribally affiliated midwives and student midwives with conference programming specific to tribal and land based native midwifery and birth work.
